About the Her Kitchen Table intitative 

Her Kitchen Table is a food and home services social enterprise that is piloted by Initiatives for Women in Need (IWIN) and The Social Outcomes Lab. 

We assist Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Women (CALD) to generate their own source of income through a

meal delivery and home assistance service in the Canberra region. Our meal artists will serve culturally authentic food, while our home assistance experts provided culturally appropriate sewing, beauty and general home assistance services.  

Our meal artists and home assistance experts are able to work flexibly doing as much or as little as they want and are provided extensive training and support to meet their longer term goals.

How can you help

There are a number of ways you can help: 

1. If you're a CALD woman looking for a paid opportunity and this sounds like you - we would love to have you on board! 

2. If you're an organisation and interested in partnering, we would love to discuss partnership opportunites with you! 

3. If you're an organisation specifically serving elderly and vulnerable people, looking for a meal delivery service - we would love to partner with you! 

4. If you're interested in volunteering for the social enterprise - we want to hear from you!
